J & J Construction is a family owned and operated company backed by over 25 years of experience. We are fully insured, but even more importantly, we pride ourselves on total customer satisfaction. Your job request will be given our full attention and planning. If it can be done, we will do it right. If it can't be done we will tell you why not. The cornerstone of our company is the quality of our work and our honesty.

Jerry and Jacci have lived in the town of Ottawa for over twenty-five years and enjoyed raising their children in this area. Jerry started working in the construction field as a carpenter about 20 years ago, prior to that he obtained knowledge and experience through buying, remodeling and selling homes as a side line while operating a small restaurant in Waukesha. The more he worked in construction the more he came to love the gratifying sense of accomplishment he felt when creating with wood. After working for different companies for 15 years, Jerry became discontent with some of the business practices that he saw and decided to start his own company. Jerry feels that a man and his company are only as good as their word and refuses to make false promises. He is grateful for being able to get up each morning excited to go to work.

While attending college, most of Jim's summers were spent working alongside Jerry in construction. The more Jim learned about construction the more he came to realize how much he enjoyed it. Jim considers himself fortunate to be able to combine the use of his education and his love of carpentry in one job.

Although Jacci is our office manager, she has been known to show up on a job site when needed. Her job site skill is limited to staining and painting. The guys are thrilled that she enjoys doing that job. When you call our office she will try to answer your questions and if she can't she will make sure Jerry or Jim gets back to you no later than the evening of the day that you called.

Through the years we have found that the best form of advertising is referrals and the best way to give you peace of mind and confidence in us, is for you to talk to people who have been where you are at. Therefore we encourage you to contact any of our past customers.
